05-20-21 DOH-Charlotte County to Offer COVID-19 Vaccines at the Department of Health

Charlotte County, Fla.— The Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County (DOH-Charlotte) will be offering vaccines to all eligible Florida residents.  The clinic will be held at the Department of Health, 1100 Loveland Blvd., Port Charlotte.

Appointments are recommended but not required.  Walk-ins will be accepted, while supplies last.  To make an appointment, call 941-624-7200.

The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine will be administered 9-:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 

Health Hero’s will also be on site to provide the Pfizer vaccine for school age children 12-17, from 2:00 p.m. – 5:30 pm..

In some cases, DOH-Charlotte may be able to set up a clinic at your business or organization. Vaccination is not recommended if:

  • You are currently experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms or any other illness. Please wait you have been symptom free for 24 hours.
  • You have had COVID-19 within the last 90 days.  Please check back after 90 days.
