DOH-Charlotte Spring Events

Charlotte County, Fla.— The Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County (DOH-Charlotte) has several events coming up for children & families.
Easter Event
DOH-Charlotte has partnered with Sonshine Baptist Church and Safe Kids Southwest Florida, to bring the community some Easter festivities. The event will include a food pantry, Easter goodie bags, and more! We will be giving out bicycle helmets & fitting them for each child. Water safety material and nose clips for summer swim safety will be available. Even the Easter Bunny will be on the scene for all the boys & girls to see.
Saturday, April 1st, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Easter Egg Hunt starting at 11:30 am

Child Safety & Wellness Workshop
In partnership with the YMCA & Charlotte County, DOH-Charlotte will be hosting multiple Child Safety and Wellness Workshops throughout the county. Each class will include information on child safety and wellness including child passenger safety, water safety, nutrition, and sleep safely. Technicians will be available to check if car seats are installed properly. There will be a limited number of seats for those who qualify and need a seat. All participants will be entered into a drawing to win a prize!
