Step 1: Complete and Submit Volunteer Paperwork
- Submit your completed Volunteer Application form to CharlotteWebmaster@flhealth.gov. (Provides sovereign immunity (liability) protection and workers compensation coverage while volunteering)
- Provide a copy of your medical license (if applicable)
Step 2: Complete a Background Check (free of charge!)
All DOH-Charlotte volunteers must pass a Level 2 federal background check.
Step 3: Get Trained
Volunteers are provided with online and/or onsite DOH-Charlotte training and orientation.
