DOH-Charlotte Issues Blue Green Algae Health Alert for Zephyr Waterway - South Gulf Cove
Charlotte County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County (DOH-Charlotte) has issued a health alert for the presence of harmful blue-green algae toxins in Zephyr Waterway – South Gulf Cove. The alert is in response to a water sample taken on April 28, 2025. The public should exercise caution in and around Zephyr Waterway – South Gulf Cove.
