Environmental Public Health - DOH-Charlotte

Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County's (DOH-Charlotte) Mobile Home and RV Parks Program minimizes the risk of injury and illness through routine inspections of mobile home and recreational vehicle parks located in Charlotte County, Florida.

Mobile homes, lodging and recreational vehicle parks, and recreational camps in Charlotte County, Florida, are licensed annually by DOH-Charlotte's Environmental Public Health.

DOH-Charlotte's Environmental Public Health staff provides direct services through routine inspections, plan reviews, educational programs, and enforcement actions.

The program focuses on:

  • Safe drinking water supplies
  • Proper sewage disposal
  • A safe and disease free swimming pool (where provided)
  • Assurances that the establishment is free from garbage, harmful insects, and rodent infestations
