Onsite Sewage Program

Would you like to know more about DOH-Charlotte's Onsite Sewage Program?

The Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County (DOH-Charlotte) must approve septic tanks serving Charlotte County, Florida, buildings located in industrial/manufacturing zones or used for these purposes (or an equivalent use) before they can be occupied.

The person or entity who owns or operates the facility must complete and submit the Application for Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal System Operating Permit (DH 4081) accompanied by a $150 annual fee.

A business proposing to occupy a building with a current operating permit must submit a Business Survey (DH 4081A)along with a $50 amendment fee.
