Join the Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County (DOH-Charlotte) and Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida in A Matter of Balance, an award-winning program designed to help seniors learn practical strategies to manage falls and increase physical activity levels.

Participant Attendance

Anyone concerned about falls · Anyone interested in improving balance, flexibility, and strength · Anyone who has fallen in the past · Anyone who has limited activities because of falling concerns

Information

There are two-hour classes once a week for eight weeks, with physical activities starting on the third. To receive a certificate of attendance, participants must attend at least five classes. All classes are free.
