Join the Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County (DOH-Charlotte) for the upcoming in-person Child Safety and Wellness Workshops. Participants will have the opportunity learn about:

  • Kids and Cars Child Passenger Safety: Child passenger safety technicians will be available to check if car seats are installed properly. A limited number of car seats will be available for those in need.*

  • Pool/Water Safety: Outdoor and water activities are common, exciting, and year-round in Florida. Be prepared with simple safety tips regarding these activities.

  • Nutrition: Information you need to create a healthy eating and physical activity environment for your family.

  • Sleeping Safely: Understanding the importance of safe sleeping practices for infants.
