Try the WIC PreScreening Tool!
The WIC PreScreening Tool assists applicants in determining whether or not they are potentially eligible to receive WIC benefits.
The Woman, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program supports eligible pregnant and breastfeeding women, women who have recently been pregnant, infants, and children under the age of 5 years who have a low or moderate income, are at nutrition risk, and who live in Florida.
Postpartum women are eligible for up to six months after the end of their pregnancy. Breastfeeding moms are eligible to receive food benefits until their babies are 1 year of age.
Dads, grandparents, foster parents, and anyone raising kids under five can also apply.
To be income-eligible for WIC, you must have a total household income equal to or less than the amounts of Florida’s WIC income guidelines. If you or your children receive Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), you’re already income-eligible for WIC.
