The Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County (DOH-Charlotte) provides quality and individualized core public health care services. These and other services are provided by highly qualified and experienced dentists, dental assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, nutritionists, and case managers.
DOH-Charlotte provides most clinical services on a sliding fee scale and are based on income and family size. Sliding fee scale is assessed at the initial visit and updated annually.
DOH-Charlotte accepts the majority of Medicaid plans and some insurance plans, but for those who are uninsured or prefer to pay out-of-pocket, DOH-Charlotte accepts cash, check, Visa and Mastercard.
