The Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County (DOH-Charlotte) provides quality and individualized core public health care services. These and other services are provided by highly qualified and experienced dentists, dental assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, nutritionists, and case managers.
No one will be denied services due to inability to pay. There is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income. The sliding fee scale is assessed at the initial visit and updated annually.
DOH-Charlotte accepts the majority of Medicaid plans and some insurance plans. For those who are uninsured or prefer to pay out-of-pocket, cash, check, Visa, and Mastercard payments are accepted.
