Mammogram Bus at DOH-Charlotte

Charlotte County, Fla.— The Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County (DOH-Charlotte) will be hosting the Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Mammogram Bus from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. on January 19, 2024.
Eligible patients will have access to services including breast and cervical cancer screenings, mammograms, pap smears, clinical breast exams, and diagnostic exams as needed. Walk-ins are welcome.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Women who are 50-64 years of age.
- Household income that is less than or equal to 200% to the federal poverty guidelines.
- Has not had a mammogram in the past year.
- No breast symptoms (e.g. pain, discharge, lump).
- Has no health insurance or insurance will not cover the cost of clinical breast exams, mammogram or pap smear.
- Or have one of the following risk factors:
- Aged 40-49 and have Black, Latino, American Indian, or Asian ancestry.
- Aged 40-49 and have a parent, sister, brother, or child that's had breast cancer.
