As of March 1st, 2025, DOH Charlotte will NOT accept paper applications for new constructions permits. This includes additional information and amendment documents. We are trying to streamline our permit review process. These applications will need to be submitted via email to Charlotte.EH@FLhealth.gov with all engineer documents containing a valid digital seal and signature.

Septic Tank Contractor Information

The Onsite Wastewater section state office in Tallahassee licenses septic tank contractors and provides a hands-on training center to provide basic and continuing education courses to Department staff and licensed contractors.
